Surpassing official projections, Pakistan’s inflation eased to 4.9% year-on-year in November 2024, down from 7.2% in October, reaching its lowest point in six and a half years, as per data released by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) on Monday.
On a month-on-month basis, the Consumer Price Index (CPI)-based inflation rose by 0.5% in November, compared to a 1.2% increase in October and a 2.7% rise in November 2023.
