Karachi Athlete Khurram Khan Makes History at Ironman World Championship in New Zealand

Khurram Khan, a 41-year-old athlete from Karachi, etched his name in history by becoming the first Pakistani to compete in the renowned Ironman World Championship held in Taipo, New Zealand. Representing Pakistan as the only athlete from the country, Khan successfully qualified for the prestigious event, which attracted over 6,000 participants from 119 nations. The grueling competition featured a 1.9-kilometer swim, a 90-kilometer bike ride, and a 21.1-kilometer run, all of which Khan completed in an impressive 5 hours, 32 minutes, and 52 seconds.
