Punjab to Modernize Farming with China’s Help
Punjab is set to transform its agriculture sector using advanced robotic technology, thanks to a partnership with China’s AI Force Tech. This initiative will introduce modern robotic equipment to help farmers work more efficiently and boost productivity.
Punjab and China Join Hands for Agricultural Innovation
During her visit to China, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz witnessed the signing of an agreement between the Punjab Agriculture Department and AI Force Tech. The deal focuses on developing and producing robotic farming machines to solve local farmers’ challenges and increase efficiency.
Maryam Nawaz assured her government’s full support in setting up a manufacturing plant for these machines in Punjab, highlighting its potential to bring significant improvements to farming.
Helping Farmers with Advanced Technology
The Chief Minister reviewed robotic farming equipment during her visit and emphasized her goal to improve farmers’ lives by adopting modern technology. She said:
“We are committed to ensuring farmers’ prosperity through modern farming tools.”
AI Force Tech will soon send a team to Punjab to finalize plans for building a factory to produce these machines locally.
Economic Growth Through Modern Farming
Maryam Nawaz’s visit to China also focused on strengthening ties for economic and technological growth. She thanked China for its support and said the partnership between Punjab and China would help grow the province’s economy and agriculture sector.
“Pak-China friendship is reaching new heights, and we are achieving economic progress together,” she said.
A Brighter Future for Punjab’s Farmers
This robotic technology initiative is expected to bring long-term benefits, making farming in Punjab more innovative, sustainable, and productive.
Maryam Nawaz also announced several programs to support farmers, including:
- 40,000 Kissan Cards to offer financial support.
- The Green Tractor Scheme to provide affordable farming equipment.
- A pilot Agricultural Mall Project and Tube Well Solarization to promote sustainable practices.
- The Fresh Agriculture Graduates Internship Program, which will train 1,000 young graduates to bring fresh ideas to the farming sector.
These efforts aim to reduce costs for farmers, provide better tools, and ensure a sustainable future for agriculture in Punjab.
