Yango Ride, an international ride-hailing service and a part of the global tech company Yango Group, has partnered with oladoc, Pakistan’s leading digital healthcare platform, in a groundbreaking initiative.

Through this collaboration, oladoc will provide premium healthcare services to Yango’s partner drivers and passengers, offering them free access to the oladoc platform. This partnership aims to improve access to essential healthcare services for both groups.

The initiative comes in response to the growing global demand for telemedicine services, which saw significant growth due to the Covid-19 pandemic. According to a Rock Health report, 80% of people have used telemedicine at least once, with a notable rise in usage among underserved groups, including older adults and those in rural areas. Additionally, 74% of millennials now prefer teleconsultations over in-person visits for the convenience and immediacy they offer (Now Health International, 2023).

As part of this collaboration, Yango’s passengers and partner drivers will receive free subscriptions to oladoc’s comprehensive healthcare services. This includes booking appointments with top doctors, accessing online consultations, and managing their health needs through an easy-to-use platform.

This partnership is a direct response to the increasing need for accessible healthcare solutions, especially for busy commuters and partner drivers who struggle to find time for in-person doctor visits. For Yango, it is a step towards improving the overall well-being of its partners by providing easy access to quality healthcare. “By partnering with oladoc, we are ensuring that both our drivers and passengers have easy access to healthcare when they need it most,” said Miral Sharif, Country Manager for Yango Pakistan. “This is just one of many ways we are working to enhance the lives of those in our community.”

Abid Zuberi, CEO of oladoc, expressed excitement about the collaboration: “We are thrilled to partner with Yango and extend our healthcare services to their drivers and passengers. This partnership aligns with our mission to expand healthcare accessibility across Pakistan through innovative solutions, and we are confident it will significantly impact many lives.”

This integration of healthcare services with a ride-hailing platform marks a new era of digital convenience and well-being, setting a precedent for future industry collaborations. This is not Yango’s first initiative to prioritize the safety and well-being of its drivers and passengers. Recently, the company introduced free Ride Insurance in collaboration with Waada, a leading Insurtech company in Pakistan, further demonstrating Yango’s commitment to enhancing safety for everyone involved.

Sign up for oladoc via Yango today to easily access premium healthcare services, available to both drivers and passengers. For more details about the partnership and to subscribe, visit https://oladoc.com/.
